Back in Minneapolis, city of my birth.

I spent a restful 3 days in Madison in the company of Kathy And Bruce in their home. The embraced Charlie and me like family. We shared many memories of Jan on our previous visit September 2015. Went to different places but felt Jan's presence everywhere.

Kathy and I visited our high school teacher of .English, Journalism and .yearbook. She is over 80 and publishes poetry, articles and short stories. Still my mentor. Definitely worth spending time with Pat. She has a joy that sparks quickly and lights up the area! Fun to participate.

Yesterday I drove to Minneapolis and visited Mom's brother Johnny, his wife Mary and my cousin, Jim, who organised my visit to them at their retirement home. I felt like a little girl grinning at them. And they all grinned back.

This morning, Charlie and I visited Minnehaha Falls that Longfellow wrote about in Song of Hiawatha. I have always loved the poem, which echoes my birthplace.
